Born and raised in Acapulco, Charly has over 15 years of experience navigating the waters of Mexico. His passion for the ocean runs deep, stemming from his early days selling oysters and fish on the beach to becoming an amazing Spearfisherman. After moving to Cabo San Lucas, he's spent the last decade honing his skills and deep knowledge of the Baja Peninsula's unique marine environment.
Charly's expertise guarantees more than just finding the best spots—it's about safety, sustainability, and an authentic, adrenaline-pumping experience. Highly recommend this spearfishing guide!
I'm new to spearfishing and went out for two days.
The guide, boat, captain, etc were all great.
They provide all equipment necessary and explained how to use the guns and gave tips/advice in the water.
The captain made fresh ceviche on the boat and cold drinks were also available.
I caught a couple of fish each day and brought them back to my hotel to eat.
This was my first time spearfishing, but I did have some basic freediving experience prior to this.
I never had to go more than 20ft deep. At times we had to deal with somewhat strong surge, waves, and currents. So I recommend that you be comfortable in the water and have snorkeling experience.
